Chinese buffet restaurant, Big Wok, got a brand new look over the summer and is now under new management. The Birmingham restaurant invested £200,000 into a complete makeover of the entire venue which now has a new reception area, new wooden flooring, interactive signage, new seating and a suspended ceiling. In addition to getting a trendy new look with modern finishes, Big Wok has introduced other new and exciting features for customers including a chocolate fountain, an improved selection of dishes, as well as a grand piano and a live Pianist to accompany it on Thursday to Saturday evenings, and on Sunday afternoons.
The response to Big Wok’s new look and new features has been overwhelmingly positive from customers, with many reviewers on TripAdvisor and LivingSocial praising the new and improved décor and layout and the addition of a piano and live Pianist. Customers have also left positive feedback in store and on social media.
Restaurant Owner, Patrick Lau, comments: “We’re excited to have our new and improved restaurant now running. The purpose of the refit was to make the overall dining experience more enjoyable, relaxed and comfortable for our customers and judging by the feedback that the makeover and new features have received, I think we have achieved that. We’re hoping to make a few more improvements over the next few months so watch this space!” Comment ends.
The Big Wok restaurant currently employs a team of 25 staff and has plans to increase its workforce by around 10% by the end of the year.
