The sun looks set to shine at Brindleyplace, Birmingham, today, where the 16th annual Dragonboat Festival will take place in the city, aiming to raise £100,000 for Cure Leukaemia.
There will be a host of activities to enjoy with the Dragonboat race itself being streamed LIVE, plus family-friendly activities taking place in Central Square and Oozells Square, including crazy golf, a bouncy castle and themed entertainment comprising Chinese dragon dancers and a fire-breathing performer.
There will also be a craft and food market held in association with Sketts, and lots of fresh tasty treats on offer for you to enjoy!
On top of that, Cure Leukaemia Patron and Broadcaster Adrian Chiles will be in attendance to show his support to the event as well as hosting the awards, later in the afternoon.
Kicking off at 10am, activities will run through until roughly 4.30pm - giving you the chance to have a great family day out. For those of you who are football fans, don't panic - with the event finishing at 4.30pm, there is plenty of time to get back home (or to the pub!) for the FA Cup Final.
The team at Cure Leukaemia look forward to the day of fun and thank everybody for their continued support.
