Battle Royale will be topping the bill in a day of free cinema presented by Square Enix in anticipation of the upcoming Final Fantasy Type-0 HD videogame.
Hosted by veteran film critic, videogame fan and Editor-In-Chief of empireonline.com James Dyer, the day will also see screenings of international hit The Hunger Games, Tomorrow, When the War Began and cult sci-fi thriller The Faculty. The free movie marathon will take place at the Prince Charles Cinema in the heart of London's bustling West End, on Saturday 14th March.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD follows the exploits of a gifted, heroic combat force with unique magical powers, who are thrust into the chaos of war with the fate of the world resting on their shoulders. They must overcome new challenges and hold on to hope in the face of brutal conflict, coming together to make a stand.
Continuing the theme, Square Enix will be screening a selection of classic movies in which gifted young people must endure the horrors of battle and survive in the deadliest of circumstances. Film times are as below;
1pm – The Hunger Games
3:30pm – Tomorrow, When the War Began
6pm – The Faculty
8pm – Battle Royale
