The West Midlands Academic Health Science Network (WMAHSN) is inviting members of the public, patients and carers from across the region, as well as representatives from NHS organisations, academic institutions and industry, to join them at their Annual Stakeholder Event.
The free event, which takes place at Chateau Impney in Droitwich on Tuesday 28 April, will inform delegates on the impact that the WMAHSN has made on the local healthcare sector and offers an opportunity to help to shape its priorities for the year ahead. Featuring breakout discussions on the West Midlands’ health and wealth challenges for the forthcoming year and workshops examining the future for different stakeholders, there will also be a marketplace of exhibitors.
Dr Christopher Parker, Managing Director of the WMAHSN, said: “By attending this event, delegates will learn about the progress that the WMAHSN has made over the past year on more than 30 programmes, which aim to improve health and generate wealth for the people of the West Midlands. There is also the opportunity to learn about the exciting plans we have for 2015 and beyond.
“The event will allow 200 or so delegates to network with others who have a stake in health provision across the region, building on the West Midlands’ growing reputation for adopting cutting edge technology, access to academic excellence and the country’s largest life sciences industry cluster, kickstarting the local economy and enhancing patient care.”
Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided. To book your place at the WMAHSN Annual Stakeholder Event, go to www.wmahsn.org and click on Events.
The WMAHSN also has a few remaining exhibition packages available for this event. To discuss the features and benefits of exhibiting, please contact Sarah Millard on 0121 452 5636 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
