With over 470,000 pure-electric cars now on UK roads, plus over 385,000 plug-in hybrids, public attention is increasingly turning to the UK’s electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. 

In view of this, Admiral Car Insurance has teamed up with Zap-Map, the UK’s leading EV charge point mapping service, to shine a light on the towns and cities that are currently best served for the two quickest types of charging points, known as rapid and ultra-rapid chargers.

Pharmaserv, owner of the Behringwerke site in Marburg, Germany, has enlisted the help of on-demand shared transport company, Liftango, to resolve parking issues across their 67.4-hectare site. 

There is around 6,000 staff employed at the park by internationally successful pharmaceutical and biotech companies, including the world's largest COVID vaccine production facility.

A road-racing car built by Mercedes-Benz in 1955, and kept by them ever since, has been secured by British expert Simon Kidston for a client. Kidston had lobbied the board of the German company for 18 months to consider selling the car "that would never be sold".

In an invitation-only event held at short notice in conditions of great secrecy at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart on 5 May 2022, Kidston's bid of €135m secured the car for an unnamed collector.
