Colors: Green Color

A purpose-designed centre to make it easy for SMEs to engage with Birmingham’s five universities will be developed on land within Innovation Birmingham’s Faraday Wharf site. The Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLE) has awarded a £2.494m Local Growth Fund grant for the capital project. Subject to planning, the new facility will be open in 2016.

Passengers attending bespoke Fear of Flying courses at the UK's Virtual Jet Centre are flying high after staff revealed they have a one hundred per cent success rate in combatting their phobias. The unique one-on-one courses have been developed by Captain Andy Wilkins who flew for Thomson Airways for nearly 20 years, on both Airbus and Boeing Aircraft. 

A Walsall College Art and Design student will see his creative work exhibited in Birmingham city centre as part of The Big Hoot Birmingham 2015 project, the biggest ever mass-participation, public art event in the city. The college sponsored a small owl sculpture, in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and offered one student the chance to get their creative design featured on the sculpture for thousands of residents and visitors to admire over the summer as part of a wider exhibition.
