Award-winning budget gym operator, Xercise4Less, has opened its £1 million Edinburgh gym doors at West Side Plaza Shopping Centre.
This Xtra special event has Scotland's golden girl, Libby Clegg, the Commonwealth Games gold medalist winner running classes throughout the day, holding a Q&A session and taking pictures with the public.
The Edinburgh club opening is Xercise4Less' fourth fitness centre to be established in Scotland, bringing its total investment to five million pounds. The 29,000 sq. ft. city centre gym will create 30 new jobs for the residents of Edinburgh, giving the economy a great boost.
To give attendees a real taste of what Xercise4Less can offer, representatives are on hand offering fun classes, fitness tips and advice plus free samples. Spot prizes including free supplement vouchers are being awarded to the tenth, 20th, 30th, 40th and 50th people through the doors.
With memberships starting from only £9.99 a month, the Edinburgh club will boast a number of trademark fitness zones including cardio, free weights, combat and a ladies only area, plus a large fitness studio that will feature over 40 free classes per week. Those who sign up for membership on the day will receive a free Xercise4Less fit pack, including a water bottle and towel.
Regarded as the people's gym, Xercise4Less boasts 26 clubs across the UK with more than 200,000 members and is set to launch up to 30 more clubs by the end of the year. The chain operates across the UK in regions including the North East, Yorkshire, North West and the Midlands.
