Now in second place, behind lung cancer, and with 1 in every 8 men is affected by Prostate Cancer, a Prostate Cancer Awareness session will be taking place at The Sports Hub, in Birmingham, this Friday, June 26, where City & Sandwell NHS Trust Consultant Oncologist, John Parkin, will be a Special Guest Speaker.
The free community event, in Holford Drive, in Perry Barr, will see him do a short presentation and answer questions during and following a formal presentation. This monthly free event is about education and for men to take responsible for their health and wellbeing.
The session, commencing at 7.00pm sharp, is based on the findings of Hear Me Now 1 & 2 compiled by Rose Thompson of BME Cancer Communities.
