Salty Water & Us is a play about thee Lascar stories of Bangladeshi immigrants who had an aspiration of returning home but never happened. The story of Lascar dreams, struggles, contributions and journeys are part of the shared British heritage to be celebrated. The story aims to critically analyse the recent ‘go back home’ campaign from a different view.
The play is written by Murad Khan and directed by Filiz Ozcan and will be performed on Sunday March 23rd at The Drum
