Investing in holistic hospitality is now paramount and the Saudi private sector is leveraging on the competitive advantage the country has, its hospitality and unique regions and products, from the beautiful Taif roses to the desert dates palms, as well as starting businesses which promote and celebrate wellbeing and ecotourism. International wellness tourists spend 35% more on average than traditional leisure tourists, and the sector is projected to reach $1.1 trillion by 2025.
Saudi Arabia is the next top destination for wellness tourism, and it is capitalizing on such a positive momentum and investing in sustainable travel for everyone, especially our youth and future generations. FHS Saudi Arabia had 1100 attendees from 35 countries. 150 speakers and 71 partners contributed.
