The all-suite, luxury Caribbean villa resort, The Landings St. Lucia, has forged a new partnership to attract discerning travelers to the Caribbean.
Kashmie Ali, Managing Director of the AAA Four Diamond Award resort, announced the new ties between the award-winning resort and Kiwi Collection, one of the world's largest independent collections of hotels for people who care where they stay.
"We take very seriously our premium brand of hospitality," said Ali, who asserted the partnership will help differentiate the resort features, including its beachfront location, considered by many the best on the island, as well as its combination of the marina and the outstanding construction quality of The Landings' villas.
"Kiwi Collection provides expert guidance on the best luxury hotels to book for a range of tastes and budgets and we're very pleased to be working with The Landings St. Lucia in an enhanced relationship," said Natalie Boaa Kim, Director of Hotel Programs for Kiwi Collection.
She added: "From its outstanding beach to the spacious suites and signature spa, guests will enjoy barefoot luxury that's truly decadent."
According to Forbes.com, "Kiwi Collection is to luxury hotels what the Michelin Guide is to restaurants."
The Vancouver-based Kim explained that the deal is a "twofer" for The Landings since the world's largest global payments technology company, Visa, has partnered with Kiwi Collection to attract Visa premium cardholders to the Visa Luxury Hotel Collection.
According to a 2011 study commissioned by Visa, its premium cardholders consisting of high net worth and affluent spenders, want to make smart choices when purchasing. They look for good value, special treatment, and depend on rating systems such as the Michelin Guide, and wine ratings.
Since 2003, Kiwi Collection's highly trained team of hospitality experts have scoured the globe in search of the very best hotels and resorts - regardless of size, brand or affiliation. And affluent travelers, travel agencies, and media have learned to trust Kiwi Collection as an authority on the best places to stay.
