The world's highest “figure-eight” Ferris wheel, the Golden Reel, opened in Macau this week at the brand new, cinema-themed Studio City resort in a star-studded launch. If you are a fan of heights, it is the latest in a series of “sky high” experiences that can be enjoyed in Macau.
Ferris wheel with a twist
Suspended at 130 metres between two art-deco hotel towers, and featuring 17 spacious steampunk-themed cabins each accommodating up to 10 people, the Golden Reel was born from an epic Hollywood-inspired tale of two asteroids careering through Studio City's main façade and leaving a perfect “8” shaped hole. The 15-minute panoramic spectacle takes your breath away as you travel around the “figure-eight” track high above the resort.

Or see Macau's sparkling skyline from another angle with the night bungy.
