Following the launch of Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market yesterday, it’s already anticipated that millions of people will be flocking to the city for its annual extravaganza.
The event, based on the city’s New Street and Victoria Square, will be open each day until December 24.
As one of Birmingham’s most lucrative of tourist attractions, which is worth an annual value of £350m to its economy, this year’s Christmas Market is already promising to be one of the best, with more than 100 stalls up to attract every visitor’s culinary delight – from monster frankfurters to apple strudel and, of course, the very best in German beers - the popular Frankfurt Christmas Market is back with a bang and ready to bring you food, drink, gifts and much more.
Other major attractions that are set to draw massive attention to Birmingham’s city centre sees the Big Wheel and Ice Rink also open in Centenary Square, with both of them remaining on site until 7 January 2024.
