Bullring hosted its bi-annual 'Students Sessions' event and with over 7,000 RSVP's, Birmingham's premier shopping centre was transformed into the ultimate student hang out, with prizes awarded throughout the evening including a holiday for two in Malia, £100 Warehouse voucher, £60 goodie bag from Hotel Chocolat and a two minute 'supermarket sweep' in retail giant River Island.
In collaboration with River Island, the winner of the 'supermarket sweep' was given two-minutes on the clock to pile on as many clothes as possible. As long as the clothes were on their body, they could walk out with every single item they managed to get their hands on.
Winner of the sweep, 21-year-old Becky Craig, a fashion, business and promotion student at BCU walked away with an incredible £676.80 worth of River Island merchandise. Becky says, "I can't believe that I got picked, or that I managed to get so much! Two minutes sounds like a really small amount of time, but time froze. I'm so happy that I got this opportunity at Bullring; thanks so much!"
Students enjoyed over 130 exclusive offers and freebies to help them end their spring term in style. Discounts across a range of fashion and beauty brands included: 20% off at Victoria’s Secret, H&M, Topshop and River Island along with a great selection of offers at the concessions within Selfridges. Hungry students that built up an appetite whilst shopping enjoyed 20% off at The Balcony in Selfridges and 30% off at Handmade Burger Company.
