K.A.D ft. KAK HATT “Just How Like You It,” recently took social media by storm.
K.A.D release the brand-new ‘Charva’ remix of the track, that features J Fado, Charlie Choppa, Tyrone + ‘The Charva’ Boys themselves - Kstar, Whydee, Tizzy, Blaize aka The Charvas. The song has taken social media by storm and become a real cultural phenomenon, with the likes of Stephen Graham, Jeremy Vine, Phil Foden, The Sidemen, Silky, Fred Sirieix, ArrDee, Molly Marsh all jumping on the trend.
Both Central Cee and his Syna pages have used the track in their posts from the weekend, as well as videos from Munya Chawawa who created his own lyrics for the song, the entire Charva crew and more. Alongside ‘The Charva’ Remix Disrupta has also jumped in to put his own spin on the track.
Undoubtedly one of the most promising up and coming figures in the drum & bass genre, Disrupta, 24, has been quick to establish his own unique and versatile sound. With chart topping music on notable labels such as Hospital Records, EMI and UKF, he is gaining boundless recognition for his work by some of the biggest names in the scene.
The song was widely popularized by Black British TikToker Kay the jeweller (@koolkidkstar) who dubbed himself "Chocolate Charva" and has since gone on to have 96k UGC’s under its belt. With the comedic lip-syncing, and exaggerated facial expressions trend to the track drawing users and creators in across platforms, it’s clear the fun is just beginning with this explosive hit.
