A new study by Mirafit.co.uk revealed that Chester is the UK city most interested in personal training.
The study gathered data on searches for personal trainers and fitness trainers in each UK city and then compared the results against each place’s population to discover which one is most interested in finding a personal trainer.
Chester, in the county of Cheshire, comes at the top of the list with 1,140 average searches per 100,000 people each month. The figure is a result of 1,024 searches for the training related keywords compared to the city’s population of 89,823. The most popular terms are “personal trainer near me” and “online personal trainer”.
Salford, located in the county of Greater Manchester, takes second place with 1,131 average monthly searches per 100,000 population. The total volume of searches for keywords regarding personal training is 1,175, while the city is home to 103,886 people.
In third comes Bath, in the southwest county of Somerset, with 1,119 average monthly searches per 100,000 population. The number is a result of 1,060 searches for keywords such as “personal trainer course” and the city’s population of 94,782.
Further down on the list, Hereford, the county town of Herefordshire, takes fourth place with a rate of 1,027 average monthly searches per 100,000 people. Inverness, in the Scottish Highlands, closes the top five with 1,004 average monthly searches per 100,000 population.
