The launch of the inaugural Irish Investor Awards held in association with Mazars, the international audit, tax, advisory and consulting firm has been announced.
The 2024 Irish Investor Awards recognise and celebrate the commitment and innovation demonstrated by individuals and organisations in the Irish private equity and venture capital industry. With a diverse range of 16 categories, these awards offer a unique platform for industry professionals to showcase their expertise and dedication.
Speaking at the launch of the awards, John Bowe, Corporate Finance Partner at Mazars said: “We are delighted to host the inaugural Irish Investor Awards.
“Irish and international private equity and venture capital funds play a pivotal role as crucial funding sources and value-add partners for Irish companies and entrepreneurs seeking to cultivate leading enterprises within Ireland. As these domestic companies expand, they not only contribute significantly to employment in Ireland but also serve as the backbone of the Irish economy.
“It is imperative to continue supporting and funding these companies, and at Mazars, we believe it is essential to recognise and celebrate the achievements of prominent private equity and venture capital firms through a dedicated Irish awards night. Additionally, we recognise the invaluable contributions of other stakeholders such as advisors, debt providers, diligence professionals, and corporate lawyers, whose collective expertise is instrumental in making deals happen."
Being named a finalist at the Irish Investor Awards is not just an accolade, it is an invitation to join the ranks of industry leaders. Finalists will have the opportunity to connect with peers, establish valuable networks, and draw inspiration from one another to reach new heights within their industry.
