An award-winning Midlands-based manufacturer, which exports its products throughout the world, sponsored this year’s Birmingham Press Club Christmas Lunch, when journalist and rom-com author Suzan Holder will be guest speaker. Let’s Sanify, which manufactures organic sanitising liquids, won the Start-Up Business of the Year category at this year’s Black Country Chamber Business Awards.

Chief Executive Mahmudur Jaigirdar said: “As one of the region’s ‘youngest’ companies we are delighted to be associated with the world’s oldest Press Club and acknowledge the valuable contribution that the local media makes to our society.” Launched in 2020 and headquartered in Tipton, Let’s Sanify’s products, such as an organic advanced antiseptic hand sanitiser and surface cleaner, not only make the spread of infectious diseases more difficult but they are also organic, non-toxic, hypoallergenic and safe for the environment.

Mr Jaigirdar said: “We are dedicated to making the world a healthier place and we believe that everyone should have access to products that can make this happen. It is becoming increasingly apparent that environmental sustainability requires more than reducing the amount of toxic chemicals used; we need to replace them with safer, non-toxic cleaning solutions that support the wellness of everyone.

“As a company we feel strongly about leading positive change in health and hygiene and championing products and systems that can protect the environment,” he added. Let’s Sanify water-based products are 100 per cent organic – the perfect alternative to general chemical disinfectants – and according to laboratory testing are capable of killing 99.9 per cent all bacteria and viruses, including COVID-19, SARS, E.Colli and MRSA.

The products were used at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and are now the product-of-choice for thousands of businesses and organisations across the globe which disinfect and sanitise their premises. Llewela Bailey, chair of Birmingham Press Club, said: “At a time when concerns about health and the environment have never been higher it is encouraging to see that a successful emerging company at the heart of the West Midlands is playing such a vital role in helping to protect the population.”
