Bangladeshi State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Md Shahriar Alam, has stated that they were not worried about the US visa restrictions.
He mentioned that they didn’t believe they had done anything wrong during a press briefing at his residence in Dhaka’s Gulshan. The US Department of State announced that it is initiating measures to enforce visa restrictions on Bangladeshi individuals responsible for, or complicit in, undermining the democratic election process in Bangladesh.
The state minister mentioned that the US authorities had reached out to the government a few days ago to communicate the details of their recent announcement.
